These thoughts sparked from a L.I.F.E Conversation I recently shared with Penny: a soul-rich, cash-poor kind of sophisticated woman.

Now in her later-life stage, she is setting up a new venture. “Why?” I asked.

She smiled back. Her answer dressed in silk:

“Darling… I guess I spent the pension and forgot to die.”

We laughed so much, not at death, but at life. At the exquisite timing of resilience. At how the fire still burns, if we instruct our spirit to spiral upward.
